....And I Have Answered

The Equinox. The beginning of Spring. Snow slowly melting, birds doin' their bird thing, the Sun up higher in the sky and the sound of two yellow Michelin Pro Race tires on the wet, beat up pavement. Yes, It got up to 52*F yesterday and I said screw the snow and pot holes, I'm taking the bike out. It felt good. Not as good as I had hoped but not as bad as I had feared. But while I was out there, legs cranking, lungs straining, for one brief moment everything became very still. For one minute, everything was right with the world......
