Just Wondering...

What thing is it that actually makes life worth living? What is the thing that really matters, that makes a difference? What is it that makes all of the miserable crap and stupidity worth it? Why don't we all end up driving our cars into bridge abutments and be done with it? I the end, does ANYTHING we do REALLY matter?
