Bad Carma (This post dedicated to Jam Master J)
What did I do? That's what I want to know. I'm not a bad person..Really. I'm respectful of others, a courteous driver, I'm vegetarian, I rescue stranded turtles from the road; In general, I try to generate a positive vibe around me.

So why then, when I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for over an hour yesterday in 95 degree heat (bad enough on it's own mind you), do I get stuck next to the guy in a car with his windows down blasting one of my least favourite songs of all time - Free Bird.

Now I have a very broad musical taste, and being a musician myself, am usually very respectful of others compositions. But, I can not begin to tell you just HOW MUCH this feted little musical turd annoys me, but I'll try anyway.

First off, it's about 2 fucking hours too long. WTF were these idiots thinking? It's not a brilliant concept piece or part of a rock opera or such; It's a hillbilly love song for the love of sweet burrito eating Jesus. Get to the point and get it over with. We don't need to hear five fucking hours of twangy, unimaginative guitar noodling. Just because they CAN write a song this lame, did they ever stop to think if the SHOULD? No! Because the were too fucking stoned to care. To stoned to care if they were hurting the world by birthing this musical abomination. I can not summon even one iota of respect for any band that cares that little about the people they may damaging not to mention PISSING OFF!

So what did I do? The only thing I could: I popped in King Crimson's Discipline CD and cranked it on my shitty stereo. King Crimson is without a doubt the Anti - Skynard. I figured at best it would reach across the gap between cars , beat the guy senseless and then melt his CD player or at worst, cause a matter / antimatter reaction ; killing us both but saving the world from that ridiculous redneck rambling and putting me out of my musical misery.
